Using my passion for beauty to create a data analytics portfolio
I spent the weekend having a mini breakdown.
I just had this overwhelming voice non stop chattering away in my head.
Spewing the most heinous things ever.
I think it’s because I was doing something I’ve always wanted to do.
It’s funny how your mind, when forced to be uncomfortable tries to keep you in a place of pity and self doubt.
Well, while that voice was trying to crush me I was doing something amazing.
I finished my Data Analytics Certification!
It’s my first one, and I’m ever so proud of myself.
I really can’t believe I did it.
But, in doing so I’ve created a new standard for myself.
Now building that portfolio on GitHub isn’t just something I research and never commit to.
I’m starting it tomorrow.
The data analytics portfolio (project) im building to land my first tech job will be based on pulling data from fashion trends.
I will also build two more projects probably surrounding psychology and child welfare.
Two more of my passions.
I believe I am so drawn to tech because it allows me to explore my passions while making informed decisions about them.
I’m so excited for what is to come!
For anyone who is struggling on their data analytics journey, career transition or dealing with some mental health issues.
